        Summary: By creating a Next2Sing account, you agree that your name and email address may be shared with the DJ or venue hosting the event you attend, for marketing and communication purposes. You can opt out at any time.
    

1. About Next2Sing

Next2Sing ("we", "us", "our") is a karaoke queue management platform that connects singers with DJs and venues. By registering an account you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when registering.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
One account per person — do not share your login credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Use of the Service

Next2Sing is provided for lawful personal use only.
You must not attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the platform.
Song requests are subject to the DJ's discretion — we cannot guarantee your song will be played.
Queue positions and rotation are managed by the DJ and may change at any time.

4. Data Sharing with DJs & Venues

When you join an event using a Next2Sing event code, your name and email address will be made available to the DJ or venue hosting that event. This data may be used by them for:

Communicating upcoming events and performances
Sending promotional offers and marketing communications
Building their audience and mailing lists

Each DJ or venue is an independent data controller for the data you share with them when attending their event. Their use of your data is subject to their own privacy policies.

Opt-out: You can opt out of marketing communications from any DJ or venue at any time by contacting them directly or by emailing privacy@next2sing.com. Opting out does not delete your Next2Sing account.

5. Privacy & GDPR

We process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our lawful basis for processing your data is:

Contract: to provide you with the Next2Sing service
Legitimate interests: to improve the platform and detect abuse
Consent: for marketing communications from DJs and venues

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to access the data we hold about you
Right to rectification of inaccurate data
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
Right to restrict or object to processing
Right to data portability
Right to withdraw consent at any time

6. Data We Collect

First name, last name, email address and password (encrypted)
Song request history and performance history
Events attended (DJ and venue)
Favourite songs
Device and usage data for analytics and security

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

8. Cookies

Next2Sing uses session cookies essential for the service to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we only use strictly necessary cookies.

9. Intellectual Property

The Next2Sing name, logo, and platform code are the intellectual property of Next2Sing. Song titles and artist names displayed are the property of their respective copyright holders — we do not host or stream any audio content.

10. Limitation of Liability

Next2Sing is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to queue position disputes, technical outages, or data shared with third-party DJs and venues.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Next2Sing after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
